Every Tuesday from 6.30pm-8.30pm is Spanish language classes at Santiago.

Santiago Tapas is offering Spanish classes that are different to a normal language institution. The classes will be conducted whilst traditional Spanish cuisine and beverages are served. It's a fun and interactive environment, with a focus on conversational Spanish.

The course is aimed to give you a language base to travel to any Spanish speaking country and be able to communicate on a basic level with the locals, making your travel experience so much more enriching.

David de Carlos Pulido is a qualified language teacher from Madrid. He followed his Australian partner to Melbourne 4 years ago and has been teaching Spanish to individuals and groups at all levels. David has a passion for Spanish language and literature and for languages in general (he also speaks Swedish). He holds a Graduate Diploma in Teaching  (Complutense University, Madrid), Bachelor of Law (Alcala University, Spain) and Masters qualifications in Peace and Conflict Studies and Law. When teaching, David strives to be innovative and connect with the passions, quirks and interests of each individual.

The teaching room is modelled on a grand dining room you would find in a Spanish mansion, complete with antique furniture and chandeliers. The perfect learning environment.

When: Tuesdays 6.30pm-8.30pm, commencing 29th June for a 10-week term
